MY STORY
I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. Painting first taught me the joy of bringing emotion into form, and architecture showed me how beauty and function can live together. After years in the corporate design world, I became obsessed with a different idea: architecture for the body. I started Laminar to reclaim my creativity - and to turn stories into objects you can wear. I iterate relentlessly, sometimes through hundreds of versions, until the form feels inevitable. I design for people who love to stand out and own their uniqueness, and I hope every Laminar piece feels like a quiet permission slip to be fully yourself.
My Process
Every piece begins with an intention - a feeling I want you to carry. I sketch, then sculpt the form in 3D to tune proportion, weight, and comfort. Prototypes are tried on, edited, and tried again until the piece moves with the body. From there, we cast in small batches, then finish by hand: filing and polishing. When plating is used, it’s chosen for durability. Each piece is checked, cleaned, and wrapped with a care card - ready to become your promise of courage.
Why Laminar
The name Laminar comes from laminar flow - a natural phenomenon where a fluid moves in parallel, uninterrupted layers: smooth, continuous, and calm. It is present in nature, but only when purposefully looked for - like the graceful movement of water through calm streams, or in the very capillaries that deliver oxygen throughout our body. There’s a quiet power in this kind of motion, representing a harmony that is a driving force behind what may appear to be a chaotic world.
