Laminar is a design-led jewelry brand for people who choose originality over fitting in. Each piece is a sculptural statement - engineered with an architect’s eye for balance and structure - so it feels bold in presence, yet lightweight, wearable, and refined. Laminar is wearable art to empower: a reminder to stand out, stay true, and make self-expression part of everyday life.
MY STORY
I grew up in Isfahan, surrounded by the beauty and complexity of Persian architecture, and it shaped the way I see design. Inspired by how math and science can create timeless beauty, I pursued computational design in architecture. After years in the building industry, I became obsessed with a different idea: architecture for the body. I started Laminar to turn stories into objects you can wear - iterating relentlessly until the form feels inevitable. I design for people who love to stand out and own their uniqueness, and I hope every piece is a quiet invitation to be bold and be you!
mY PROCESS
Every piece begins with an intention - a feeling I want you to carry. I sketch, then sculpt the form in 3D to tune proportion, weight, and comfort. Prototypes are tried on, edited, and tried again until the piece moves with the body. From there, we cast in small batches, then finish by hand. When plating is used, it’s chosen for durability. Each piece is checked, cleaned, and wrapped in Laminar branded packaging with a care card.
Why Laminar
The name Laminar comes from laminar flow - a natural phenomenon where a fluid moves in parallel, uninterrupted layers: smooth, continuous, and calm. It is present in nature, but only when purposefully looked for - like the graceful movement of water through calm streams, or in the very capillaries that deliver oxygen throughout our body. There’s a quiet power in this kind of motion, representing a harmony that is a driving force behind what may appear to be a chaotic world.
